- Any rider may enter but they must complete the SC MTB Cup entry form and pay the entry fee of $10. Riders will only accumulate series points once a completed SC MTB Cup entry form has been received.
- To be eligible for the series trophies competitors must finish in at least two events.
- Points are awarded for each event that you finish based on your time relative to the time of the fastest finisher of your SC MTB Cup grade.
- Your best three results will count (i.e. you can drop one event - a bad result or missed race).
- The Blue Mountain Race will count double points.
- Winners will be announced and trophies presented at the Blue Mountain prize giving.
- Grades: Junior (under 15), Youth (Under 19), Open (19-34), Vet1 (35-44), Vet2 (45-54), Vet3 (55+) – based on your age at 31 January 2010.
- The series web site www.scmtbcup.co.nz will show the points table and after each round we will email the latest results and points table to all participants.
- NOTE you must also enter each of the events separately, complete the event entry forms and pay the entry fees.
- SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR JUNIOR RIDERS. In the X Scenic MTB Race – the SC MTB Series Race juniors points will be awarded in the 18km Sport Race. In the Blue Mountain Gorges Challenge, Junior Riders must ride the race with an adult rider aged over 19.
